Team India batter Rinku Singh had teammate Arshdeep Singh bursting into laughter as he sang Canadian rapper Drake’s famous track “God’s Plan.” The duo were seen enjoying a light-hearted moment following India’s 2-1 T20I series win over Australia. Amused by Rinku’s impromptu singing, Arshdeep playfully suggested a possible collaboration between Drake and Rinku.

He even shared the clip on Instagram with the caption:

“Collab hojaye Drake naal (Should we collab with Drake)?”

Interestingly, Arshdeep Singh finished as India’s second-highest wicket-taker in the five-match T20I series against Australia, claiming four wickets in just two outings at an economy rate of 8.14. Rinku Singh, meanwhile, spent the first four matches on the sidelines. He was included in the playing XI for the fifth and final T20I but didn’t get a chance to bat, as rain washed out the game after just 4.5 overs.

Rinku Singh once revealed the meaning behind his ‘God’s Plan’ tattoo in a video shared by the BCCI on social media last year. He explained that the tattoo symbolizes his unforgettable heroics against the Gujarat Titans (GT) during the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

The left-handed batter etched his name in IPL history by guiding Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to a remarkable victory, smashing five consecutive sixes off Yash Dayal in the final over. Reflecting on his tattoo, Rinku said:

“I keep saying God’s Plan. I designed my tattoo based on that. It’s been a few weeks since I got it. The words ‘God’s Plan’ are written inside a circle, which represents the sun. The main aspect of the tattoo is the representation of the five sixes I hit in the IPL. It changed my life, so I thought I would include them in the tattoo.”
