“Hopefully I remember this knock” – Rishabh Pant delighted with his mature knock

While chasing the target of 260 runs, the Indian team didn’t get a good start. Dhawan was dismissed on a score of one run. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli could manage to score 17 runs each. Reece Topley completely shattered the top order of the Indian team.

The Indian team was struggling at 72 runs for the loss of four wickets. In such a critical situation, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya formed a 133 runs partnership to take India to a safe position.

Rishabh Pant in the post-match presentation said, “Hopefully I remember (this knock) for the rest of my life. I was focusing on one ball at a time when I was batting. When your team is under pressure and you bat like that .. something I aspire to do. I always enjoy playing in England, at the same time enjoy the atmosphere and the situation.”
