Team India’s veteran batter Rohit Sharma recently took a playful dig at spinner Kuldeep Yadav while responding to a light-hearted question. When he was asked to choose what he’d rather avoid, changing diapers or getting a clean shave, the 38-year-old jokingly replied that he would prefer stopping Kuldeep from taking DRS calls. The moment was captured in a video that later surfaced on X.
The joke referred to an incident from the recently concluded ODI series against South Africa. During the third ODI in Visakhapatnam, Kuldeep tried to convince captain KL Rahul to go for a review. As both Rahul and Kuldeep appeared unsure, Rohit stepped in and discouraged them from challenging the decision. The moment eventually ended with all three sharing a laugh.
At the innings break of the same match, Kuldeep Yadav admitted that he often feels convinced it’s out whenever the ball strikes the pads, and acknowledged that senior players play an important role in deciding whether to take a review. In the video posted on X, Rohit Sharma was asked:
“Ro, what would you avoid the most? Changing diapers or getting a clean shave?”
The veteran hilariously answered:
“Kuldeep taking that review yaar, honestly. Seriously.”
Question : "RO what you avoid the most changing diaper or getting clean shave?
Rohit Sharma funny answer : "Kuldeep taking that review"😂❤️ pic.twitter.com/oXpHdScaeP
