[WATCH]- Rohit Sharma Interacts With Paparazzi During Mumbai Outing With Wife

Team India batter Rohit Sharma was seen stepping out with his wife at a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, on Saturday, December 20. A video that surfaced on social media showed the 38-year-old engaging in a brief conversation with paparazzi, who began taking pictures as soon as they noticed the couple.

Rohit last featured for India in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against South Africa. The right-hander carried forward his excellent form from the ODI series against Australia, where he was named Player of the Series after scoring 202 runs across three matches.

However, he fell short of a century in the South Africa series, registering scores of 57, 14 and 75. Here’s the video capturing the senior cricketer speaking to the paparazzi:

The Nagpur-born batter is set to next feature for India in the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, starting January 11. However, he has been included in Mumbai’s squad for the opening two games of the Vijay Hazare Trophy and is expected to turn out in the tournament ahead of the ODI series. Placed in Group C, Mumbai begin their campaign against Sikkim in Jaipur on December 24, before facing Uttarakhand a few days later.

Rohit Sharma, who led India to T20 World Cup glory in 2024, recently expressed his excitement after being named the brand ambassador of the upcoming marquee tournament. Responding to the announcement, he said, as quoted by Cricbuzz:

“It is great to have the tournament back in India and for me to be associated once again with the tournament, this time in a new capacity as the Brand Ambassador. I wish all the players the very best and hope they have a memorable time and enjoy India’s hospitality while taking back a lot of memories.”
