India captain Rohit Sharma was surrounded by fans during a training session in Canberra ahead of the warm-up game against the Australian Prime Minister’s XI. As he was heading for practice, enthusiastic fans approached him for photos and autographs.
The situation prompted a humorous reaction from Rohit, who told one fan to wait his turn while he was handling another request. The fan had asked for a selfie while Rohit was signing a cricket ball, and the persistent requests seemed to annoy him. Rohit calmly responded, asking the fan to wait for his turn.
“Ek time par ek hi kaam ho sakta hai. (Only one task can be done at a time),” Rohit Sharma said.

Crowd chants “Mumbai cha raja Rohit Sharma” during PMXI vs India warm-up game 2024
The Canberra crowd gave a warm reception to Rohit Sharma during the ongoing warm-up game between India and PMXI on Sunday, December 1, at Manuka Oval. Rohit had missed the first Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy to be with his family after the birth of his son on November 15.
The first day of the warm-up match was washed out due to rain, and the match was rescheduled to 50 overs per side on Day 2. After winning the toss, India chose to bowl first. As the Indian team took the field, the crowd erupted with chants of “Rohit-Rohit” and “Mumbai cha raja, Rohit Sharma.”
