Indian cricket team’s wicketkeeper-batsman, Sanju Samson, received praise for a heartwarming encounter with a specially-abled child in Kerala. A viral video showcased the child’s wish to meet Samson, and the Rajasthan Royals skipper not only fulfilled it but also engaged in a game of cricket with the youngster.
Sanju Samson impressed supporters with his first ODI century in the December 2023 series against South Africa. Scoring 108 off 114 balls, the right-handed batsman played a pivotal role in India’s formidable total of 296.

In January, the 29-year-old cricketer played for India in the last T20I against Afghanistan, facing a disappointing golden duck. His focus now shifts to contributing significantly to the Rajasthan Royals, aiming to establish a compelling position as he strives towards the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Samson, recognized as one of the country’s top players, had limited opportunities to represent India. Despite this, he made a comeback during the ODI series against South Africa, impressively scoring a century in the third ODI. Following that, he participated in the T20I series against Afghanistan on home turf.
Sanju Samson starts getting ready for IPL 2024
Sanju Samson will captain the Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming 2024 IPL season. After a less successful campaign last year, where they secured seven wins and faced seven losses in 14 matches, Rajasthan Royals aim for a stronger performance in the upcoming tournament.
Last season, Samson scored three half-centuries, finishing as the team’s third-highest run-scorer with 362 runs in 14 matches, averaging 30.16. Samson has started gearing up for the upcoming edition, and the Rajasthan team posted a video on social media showcasing the skipper’s intense training for IPL 2024.
