[Watch]- Security Person Carries Off Intruder On His Shoulders; Virat Kohli’s Epic Reaction Goes Viral
Virat Kohli

Yesterday (Wednesday, May 25), fans at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata witnessed an out-of-the-blue sight after a long period, during the Eliminator contest between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). An intruder seemed to be running towards Virat Kohli, who was fielding at that instance.

Seeing the intruder running on the ground, a few safeguards rushed to prohibit him. The men in charge didn’t let the intruder get in touch with Kohli. One of the guards lifted the invader and literally dashed him out, beyond the boundary. Seeing the guard’s working style, Kohli was left surprised. Here’s how the former RCB skipper reacted:

Beholding the scenes, fans too had different attributives for the guard. Some called the occurrence a WWE wrestling while some baptized the guard as Baahubali, the fictitious character from the Baahubali movie series.

Besides, reviewing the RCB versus LSG derby, Rajat Patidar certainly owned the show yesterday. Winning the delayed toss, LSG opted to field first. RCB appeared to be struggling as skipper Faf du Plessis was dismissed on a Golden Duck by Mohsin Khan.

Patidar, batting at number three, smashed LSG bowlers at a strike rate of 207.40! The right-hand batter, full of confidence and good cricketing shots, scored 112 runs in 54 balls, with 12 fours and 7 sixes. Apart from Patidar, Dinesh Karthik yet again displayed his worth, as the RCB keeper batter contributed a quick finish. Karthik scored 37 runs off 23 deliveries, with five boundaries and a six. For LSG, Mohsin Khan was the most economical bowler, as the left-arm pacer finished with excellent figures of 4-25-1. RCB posted a huge total of 207 for four.

LSG in reply, with the exception of skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda, the batting unit couldn’t sustain for long. Rahul scored 79 runs off 58 deliveries, with 3 fours and 5 sixes. While Hooda scored 45 runs in 26 deliveries, with a boundary and four sixes. Josh Hazlewood was the most successful whereas Harshal Patel again turned out to be the most economical bowler for RCB, yesterday. LSG managed to score 193 for six, as RCB won the match by 14 runs.

RCB now will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Qualifier 2, On May 27, at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The winner from these two will move into the finals to face Gujarat Titans (GT), on May 29, at the same venue.
