Punjab Kings (PBKS) opener Shikhar Dhawan, on Wednesday (April 27), shared a hilarious video urging people not to drink and drive, with his co-players Arshdeep Singh and Harpreet Brar.

Mayank Agarwal-led PBKS is having a reputable run in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. PBKS have won four out of eight games played they have played. Currently, they are in the sixth position in the points table.

PBKS recently clinched a thriller victory against the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Dhawan, with a contribution of stylish 88 runs helped PBKS to hand a remarkable defeat to the CSK. PBKS left-arm pacer Arshdeep also exhibited his prime in the death overs.

Famous for their on-field skills, Dhawan and Arshdeep impressed the audience with their incredibly entertaining social media abilities. Dhawan posted the video stating “Don’t drink and drive,” on his official Instagram handle. In Punjabi, Dhawan joked that one shouldn’t drink and drive since the drink would fall on the floor.

Along with fans, several cricketers like former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, Delhi Capitals player Mandeep Singh, and broadcaster Gaurav Kapur reacted in the comments section of Dhawan’s post.

PBKS set to face LSG next

Meanwhile, PBKS is set to face in-form Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Friday, April 29, at the MCA Stadium, Pune. With this match against LSG, PBKS has six matches left in the league stage schedule.

Things look troublesome for the PBKS, as to qualify for the playoffs, they will have to win four out of their remaining six matches. While LSG, on the other hand, has won five out of eight matches they have played. KL Rahul-led LSG are at fourth position in the points table and need to win three out of six matches, left in their league stage roster.
