Team India cricketer Shubman Gill pulled off an outstanding catch on the second day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at The Kennington Oval in London. His brilliant effort sent Cameron Green back into the pavilion cheaply, keeping India in the game during the summit clash.

The Indian team put up a spirited comeback in the first hour, after a long day in the field on the opening day. They broke the magnificent fourth-wicket stand between Travis Head and Steve Smith. Head was dismissed by Mohammed Siraj for 163 runs off 174 deliveries, with twenty-five boundaries and a six. Cameron Green walked out to the crease but did not trouble the scorers much.

In the 95th over, Mohammed Shami bowled a full delivery outside off stump. Green tried to drive the delivery, with not much footwork. He edged the ball which flew towards Shubman Gill at second slip. Gill took a sharp catch with both hands, to send the all-rounder back to the hut for six runs.
