Marco Jansen shines for Sunrisers Hyderabad
Earlier in the match, Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bangalore didn’t get a good start and they lost three wickets in the second over. Marco Jansen took the important wickets of Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat. RCB couldn’t recover from this blow and got all out on 68 runs.
Hyderabad chased the target successfully in eight overs which gave them a boost in net run-rate and took Sunrisers Hyderabad to second position in the points table. Marco Jansen received the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his brilliant spell upfront.
” I try to keep it as simple as possible, sometimes it works. I thought the ball was going to swing nicely after the first ball I bowled, the second ball was angled across the right hander, but I enjoyed the third wicket the most (Rawat’s wicket). This is the best spell I have bowled with the white ball so far.” said Marco Jansen in post match presentation.
