Several familiar faces from the Indian cricketing fraternity, including Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Shardul Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, and many more, attended Chahar’s reception ceremony.

Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar had proposed to Bhardwaj, his wife now, in UAE, during the IPL 2021. Talking about the wedding, the ceremony took place at Jaypee Palace hotel in Agra, in a traditional way. The wedding went on in presence of his cousin and Punjab Kings’ leg-spinner Rahul Chahar, other friends, and family members.

Besides, there were some speculations over the CSK skipper MS Dhoni and the Indian great Virat Kohli’s attendance at the event, but both of the cricketers couldn’t make it to the function, due to unknown reasons.

The CSK skipper Dhoni was expected to attend the wedding but the former Indian cricketer was in Tamil Nadu, attending an event celebrating the silver jubilee of the (TDCA), as a chief guest, alongside former ICC chairperson and former BCCI president N Srinivasan. The theme of the wedding was ‘The Royal Grandeur’. And the menu of the ceremony included both traditional and continental dishes.
