Team India are all set to take on New Zealand in their second game on Sunday in the T20 World Cup 2021. Before that, they enjoyed their day off on the beach while playing a different sport as well.
However, Indian players were seen playing volleyball on the beach in Dubai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared the video on their social media account with the caption: “A game of beach volleyball as #TeamIndia unwinds in their day off!”

As far as the tournament is concerned, Team India lost their series opener to Pakistan in Dubai. Pakistan did well in all three departments and registered a convincing victory by 10 wickets. This was their first-ever victory over India in a World Cup match.
However, Pakistan beat New Zealand in their second game by 5 wickets. And, the game between India and New Zealand is going to be crucial in the context of the tournament.
“I would consider Ishan Kishan ahead of Hardik Pandya” – Sunil Gavaskar
Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has backed Ishan Kishan to play against New Zealand on Sunday ahead of Hardik Pandya if the all-rounder is not fit to resume bowling.
“If Hardik Pandya is not bowling – due to that shoulder injury he sustained in the match against Pakistan – Ishan Kishan has been in brilliant form so I will surely consider him ahead of Pandya,” Sunil Gavaskar said to Sports Tak.
Sunil Gavaskar also backed Shardul Thakur to play in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who looked completely out of form in the last game.
