New Zealand won the first T20I match at Ranchi by 21 runs on January 27. The two pitches at Ranchi and Lucknow helped spinners a lot but did not help the batters enough.
The pitch at Ahmedabad promises to be a high-scoring match as both teams have quality hitters. Shubman Gill struggled in the first two T20I matches.
Shaw made the second-highest induvial score in Ranji Trophy. He smashed 379 runs against Assam in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. Ishan Kishan also failed to contribute big runs. Hardik Pandya and Co would be looking to win another T20I series. Under his captaincy, the Indian team won the T20I series against Sri Lanka by 2-1.
