Team India star Ishan Kishan was seen enjoying himself and showing his dance moves at a college event before IPL 2026. The tournament is set to begin on March 28. He attended the event and had a great time, dancing and performing bhangra with students who were dressed in traditional outfits.

The left-handed batter wore a white T-shirt, light brown pants, and a red scarf around his neck. He also used a ‘sapp’, a traditional wooden prop commonly used in bhangra performances.

Ishan Kishan played a very important role in India’s T20 World Cup 2026 win. He was the team’s second-highest run-scorer, making 317 runs in nine matches. And He averaged 35.22 and scored at a fast strike rate of 193.29. He also hit three half-centuries, including one in the final.

SRH look to Ishan Kishan to maintain his blistering touch in IPL 2026

Ishan Kishan was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad before the IPL 2026 auction. In the 2025 season, he scored 354 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 152.58, including one century and one half-century.

He is going into IPL 2026 in great form. He has been scoring runs regularly in both international and domestic cricket, even before the T20 World Cup. In the home T20I series against New Zealand, he made 215 runs in four matches, averaging 53.75 with a very high strike rate of 231.18, including a century and a fifty.

Before that, he captained Jharkhand to win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26. He was the top run-scorer in the tournament, scoring 517 runs in 10 matches at an average of 57.44 and a strike rate of 197.32, with two centuries and two fifties.

SRH could not reach the playoffs last season. This year, they will hope to do better and will be relying on Ishan Kishan to continue his excellent form and keep batting aggressively.
