Tilak Varma did a special thing to celebrate the Asia Cup 2025 Indian victory by gifting an autographed cap to Andhra Pradesh cabinet minister Lokesh Nara. Nara had posted a video of Tilak signing for him on Instagram.

Till then, the limelight had been firmly upon Tilak following a wonderful performance in the final against Pakistan. After a run of failures from India’s top order, including Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill, and Abhishek Sharma, it was left to Tilak Varma to steady the innings. He, along with Sanju Samson, put up a valuable 50-run stand while showing plenty of composure in tough circumstances.

The minister’s happiness with the gift was unquestionable as he wrote the caption with the post, “This made my day. Excited to get it straight from you when you’re back in India, champ!” This goes to show how close Tilak is to his fans. Tilak continued his successful innings with support from Shivam Dube as India chased down 147 in a thrilling five-wicket victory.

Finally, the winning boundary fell to Rinku Singh, but it was Tilak’s batting throughout the chase that proved decisive, ushering India to their ninth Asia Cup trophy.
