Veteran pace bowler Trent Boult delivered an amazing delivery that dismantled Quinton de Kock during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Ekana Cricket Stadium on Saturday, April 27th.

The left-handed batsman began his innings impressively, hitting consecutive boundaries in the first over, but was ultimately outwitted by Boult’s brilliance. De Kock departed after facing just three balls, scoring eight runs, as the table-topping RR side claimed an early wicket.

Boult delivered a well-pitched ball around the off stump, prompting De Kock to attempt a shot towards the leg side. However, the ball deviated after pitching, eluding the batsman’s stroke and striking the stumps with precisions.

Trent Boult maintained his exceptional bowling form by claiming his 10th wicket in the ninth match of IPL 2024. The talented New Zealand fast bowler aims to sustain his impressive performance as the Royals strive for their second IPL title.

RR made an early breakthrough, but LSG bounced back in the game

A precise bowling performance from RR resulted in the early dismissal of two LSG batsmen in the IPL match on Saturday. This occurred as skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Alongside Boult’s contribution, Sandeep Sharma removed Marcus Stoinis, who had scored a century in his previous match against Chennai Super Kings, for a quick dismissal. As of now, the Super Giants stand at 87/2 after 9.2 overs, with captain KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda batting.
