Australian opener Usman Khawaja took a stunning diving catch on the second day of the third Test against India on Thursday, March 2 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore in the 2023 Border Gavaskar Trophy. His fielding effort sent Shreyas Iyer back to the hut in the second innings. It left the fans as well as the experts amazed.

The incident took place during the thirty-eighth over of the Indian innings. Australian skipper Steven Smith brought in Mitchell Starc to break the dangerous-looking partnership between Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer. Starc bowled a full delivery which angled into the right-hander. Iyer flicked the delivery in the air, and Usman Khawaja dived to his left and took a stunner. Iyer was dismissed for an almost run-a-ball 26 runs knock.
