[WATCH]- Varun Dhawan’s Hilarious Face-Swap Video Of Him Bowling In IND vs NZ 2025

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan recently shared a humorous face-swap video of himself bowling as India’s mystery spinner, Varun Chakaravarthy. The clip, taken from India’s 2025 Champions Trophy group match against New Zealand, featured Dhawan’s face superimposed onto Chakaravarthy’s body.

Dhawan’s post was a playful response to the memes that circulated after India’s semifinal clash with Australia. Following Chakaravarthy’s crucial dismissal of Travis Head, fans flooded Dhawan’s social media with praise—likely due to their shared first name or simply for fun.

Taking the joke further, Dhawan created the face-swap video and wished Chakaravarthy and Team India good luck for their final against New Zealand.

“Since the internet is having fun I decided to join in. All the best to the boys in blue and the other VARUN to shine bright on Sunday let’s go 🇮🇳.”

“Well bowled bhaiya🙏🙂.”

Chakaravarthy’s witty comment had fans laughing and has amassed over 1 lakh likes. Notably, the skilled spinner has been in outstanding form in the 2025 Champions Trophy, picking up seven wickets in just two matches.

“Varun Chakaravarthy is a major threat” – New Zealand head coach before 2025 Champions Trophy final

New Zealand head coach Gary Stead acknowledged that Varun Chakaravarthy would be a major challenge for the BlackCaps in the 2025 Champions Trophy final. He highlighted the spinner’s impressive five-wicket haul against them in the group stage.

Stead emphasized that the team would strategize to tackle Chakaravarthy’s threat, stating (as quoted by India Today):

“We certainly expect him to play after getting 5 for 42 against us in the last game. He is a class bowler and showed his skills against us last time, and he’s a big threat in the game. So we’ll be putting our thinking caps on around how we nullify that and how we can still score runs against him.”
