[WATCH] Virat Kohli Gives A Tour Of His Alibaug Holiday Home

Team India cricketer Virat Kohli gave a glimpse of his newly-built holiday home in Alibaug, a coastal town near Mumbai. The holiday home is built over a 10,000-square-foot plot and is one of the most luxurious homes in the country.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma recently built the Holiday Home in Alibaug. He expressed that his idea of taking a break is to slow down and stay away from the hectic sportsperson’s life. The two-storey villa features high ceilings and has natural light streaming through windows and glass walls.

In a video shared by Virat Kohli and Avas Wellness, the Indian cricketer gave a personal tour to the fans of his newly built holiday home. He wrote, “Kickstarting 2024 at the Baugh! Love my new holiday home at Avās Living, Alibaugh. Super excited to give you a sneak peak into my oasis.”

“The most interesting feature is the double-height cut-out ceiling in the living space, as it welcomes natural light. The more the light, the better the energy,” said Virat Kohli in the video.

No TV in the living room

In the video, Virat Kohli further expressed that he missed spending a lot of time with his family. He highlighted that there is no television in the living room, which was a conscious decision by them. The Indian batter was also thrilled with the set-up of the dinner table inside the villa. He also stated that it is important to feel at home.

“The most important thing for me in a holiday home is the feeling you get where you enter. It has to make you absolutely relaxed, centered, peaceful, feeling at home away from home,” Kohli said in the video.

Virat Kohli will miss the upcoming first T20I against Afghanistan. However, he will join the Indian team for the second game which is on Sunday, January 14 in Indore.
