A fan shared a memorable moment by touching Virat Kohli’s feet after the IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday, April 27, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Following the match, RCB players were celebrating their victory with hugs and congratulations.

As Kohli was adjusting his gloves and helmet, a young ball boy approached him and touched his feet before Kohli moved on to shake hands with the opposition players. You can watch the video here:

RCB defeated DC by six wickets, extending their unbeaten run on the road to six wins from as many matches. This victory also propelled them to the top of the points table with 14 points, strengthening their chances of securing a playoff spot this season.

Virat Kohli has been a key player in RCB’s success this season. The 36-year-old has been consistently among the runs, scoring another fifty against Delhi on Sunday. In a challenging run chase of 163, where RCB were struggling at 26/3, Kohli steadied the innings and batted until nearly the end to guide his team to victory.

He scored a determined 51 off 47 balls, including four boundaries. This marked his sixth half-century in 10 matches this season, underscoring his reliability with the bat. Kohli is currently the second-highest run-scorer of the season, with 443 runs from 10 games at an average of 63.28 and a strike rate of 138.87.

He trails only Sai Sudharsan, who has 456 runs. Of Kohli’s six half-centuries, four have come while chasing, a key factor in RCB’s strong record in run chases this year. As RCB prepares to host Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday, May 3, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kohli will be expected to maintain his impressive batting form.
