Celebrity duo Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have always been protective of their personal life and frequently urge paparazzi not to capture their children, Vamika and Akaay. Recently, a video of the Indian cricket star returning from Ahmedabad surfaced online. As photographers spotted him at the airport, Virat chose not to pose for pictures near his car since his daughter was inside.

The video, shared by a paparazzi Instagram account on Thursday, showed Virat leaving the airport carrying a bag without Anushka by his side. He quickly removed his face mask and headed straight towards his vehicle. Surrounded by paparazzi trying to take photos and videos, Virat politely asked them to step aside, saying, “Arey beti ko ghar leke jana hai yar please” (I have to take my daughter home, please).

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Surprise Fan With Handwritten Note in Ahmedabad

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were recently seen together in Ahmedabad, where they posed for photos with a fan and also gifted her handwritten notes. Pictures from the memorable interaction quickly went viral on social media. The note from the couple read, “To Ashi, thank you for all the help. Best wishes from us.”

After Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the IPL 2026 trophy in Ahmedabad, Virat and Anushka visited Vrindavan to seek blessings from Premanand Maharaj. They later travelled to Delhi before returning to London. Back in 2021, Virat and Anushka had released a joint statement requesting privacy for their daughter Vamika and urged media organisations and publications not to share or publish her photographs.

“We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter. Special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been married for nine years after tying the knot in 2017. The couple became parents to their daughter Vamika in 2021 and welcomed their son Akaay in 2024. Later that year, they officially moved to London, where they currently live.
