Team India are currently taking on England in the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at Adelaide Oval. Put into bat first, Team India had a shaky start as they lost their opener, KL Rahul, in a jiffy. However, that made Virat Kohli come in the middle.
Kohli, who took an over to settle down in the middle, stole the limelight with a maximum which he hit on the 4th over of the innings bowled by Chris Woakes. He bowled a pitched-up delivery away from Kohli and he lofted it over extra cover. And, the timing was so good that it reached the boundary with ease.
Here is the six hit by Virat Kohli:

However, Team India got off to a poor start in their innings, losing opener KL Rahul for a mere 5. The veteran batter awkwardly pushed at a rising delivery outside off stump from Chris Woakes and was out. India captain Rohit Sharmaās poor run with the bat continued as he could manage only 27 off 28 balls, following a failed attempt to take on Jordan as well.
Moreover, the in-form batter Suryakumar Yadav got out for only 14 off 10 balls. Looking to go after leg-spinner Adil Rashid, he only managed to hit a slower delivery outside off stump to the fielder in the deep as well. With this, India were reduced to 75/3 in the 12th over. However, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya later did their best and helped the side put up a decent total.
