However, the 36-year-old grabbed attention on social media after a video of him mimicking Suryakumar Yadav went viral. The incident took place during India’s chase of 305 at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

Kohli was seen playfully imitating the India T20I captain’s signature “chewing gum” act, which had teammates Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, and Arshdeep Singh in splits.

Kohli’s inconsistent form continues to trouble India

The 37-year-old smashed 119 runs off 90 balls, hitting 12 boundaries and seven sixes—an innings that came at the perfect time ahead of the Champions Trophy.
