The World Test Championship final between India and Australia is set to begin on June 7 at the Oval in London. Virat Kohli is prepared for the biggest Test of them all.
Kohli can be seen practicing both offensive and defensive shots in a video that Star Sports, the event’s official broadcaster, uploaded to YouTube.
When facing Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, and Axar Patel in the nets, the right-handed batter appeared to be in complete control.
For those who are unfamiliar, Virat Kohli performs at his peak against Australia. In 24 Test matches, he has scored 1,979 runs at an average of 48.27, including eight hundreds and five half-centuries.
The Delhi batsman has amassed 1,033 runs in 16 Test matches in England, including a few hundreds.
The right-handed batter is also coming off a strong IPL campaign in which he scored 639 runs in 14 games, including two successive hundreds in his final two games.
In the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which ended in a draw but saw India win the series 2-1. He recently smashed 186 against Australia.
He also ended a century drought that had lasted three years with the ton. Cameron Green’s response to Virat Kohli’s threat was to “stand up in big moments”.

In the WTC final, the Australian all-rounder believes that Virat Kohli will be a crucial wicket for Australia.
He claimed that in crucial games, the Delhi batter always defends Team India. In his remarks to ICC, he stated:
“Virat Kohli. He tries to be the man to stand up in crucial situations, in my opinion. I’m excited about the World Test Championship because it will undoubtedly be a huge occasion”.
In 92 games against the Australians across all formats, Kohli has amassed 4945 runs at an average of 50.97, including 16 tons and 24 half-centuries.
Kohli will now try to atone for his 44 and 13 against New Zealand in the 2021 WTC final. India lost by eight wickets while he served as captain.
