India Masters all-rounder Yuvraj Singh delivered a match-winning performance, claiming 3/12 in the International Masters League (IML) T20 match against South Africa Masters on March 1. During his spell, he was briefly on a hat-trick after dismissing Vernon Philander and Garnett Kruger on consecutive deliveries.

Once regarded as one of the world’s finest all-rounders, Yuvraj continues to pose a challenge to opposition batters even at 43, using his crafty left-arm spin. The 2011 World Cup hero bowled two overs at the BCA Stadium, making an immediate impact.

He clean-bowled Vernon Philander for a duck and followed it up by trapping Kruger LBW on the very next ball. You can watch the video here:

Yuvraj Singh and Rahul Sharma decimate South Africa Masters at the BCA Stadium

India Masters made their debut at the BCA Stadium in the International Masters League, with captain Sachin Tendulkar winning the toss and opting to bowl first. South Africa Masters got off to a strong start, racing to 35/0 in just four overs.

However, leg-spinner Rahul Sharma turned the game around with a stunning hat-trick, reducing the opposition to 35/3. Yuvraj Singh’s three-wicket haul, along with double strikes from Pawan Negi and Stuart Binny, further dismantled the South African lineup, restricting them to a modest target of 86 runs for India Masters.

Despite losing Sachin Tendulkar early, Ambati Rayudu and Pawan Negi confidently guided India Masters to a comfortable victory within 11 overs. Their next thrilling encounter is set against Australia Masters on March 5 at the BCA Stadium.
