It’s the clash of titans in Dubai as Royal Challengers Bangalore lock horns with the Kings XI Punjab. After a solid start by the Punjab openers, Yuzvendra Chahal once again turned the tide for Bangalore. Chahal bowled a perfect googly to knock Mayank Agarwal.
Coming from a win, Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli put Kings XI Punjab to bat first considering the dew factor. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal were off to a steady start without taking too much risk. The measured risk was because of the collapse in the last match.
Chahal knocks Mayank Agarwal
Both of them focused on ones and twos while the odd boundaries kept coming in from here and there. Punjab soon crossed the 50-run mark in the powerplays when Kohli introduced last match’s game-changer Yuzvendra Chahal into the attack. And oh boy! he strikes in his first over to remove Mayank Agarwal, who was the sole run-getter for Punjab in the last game.
Agarwal had no clue about that googly. Moreover, he failed to read it out of the hand and leaves a gaping hole between the bat and pad trying to play the expansive inside-out drive, as if to a leg-break. However, that one turns in and crashes into the stumps of Agarwal.

However, Kings XI Punjab regrouped well with skipper KL Rahul at the helm of the batting. He partnered Nicholas Pooran to steer and innings and set records for a massive score against a star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the process, Rahul brought his first half-century in IPL 2020 and will hope to convert it into a three-figure score.
