Always keen on improving himself, Josh raised his game by moving onto playing List A cricket with Western Australia’s Vikings and subsequently, signed with them to play in one day domestic competitions between 2015-2016 season and 2016-2017 season respectively including Champions League T20s.
Meanwhile, he made his first class debut during season 2015-16 as a wicketkeeper for NSW against Victoria when he took over the gloves from Peter Nevill after their initial choice had been injured during the match.
