When MS Dhoni Shut Down A Twitter User With A Sharp-Witted Reply

Former Indian skipper and wicket-keeper MS Dhoni is well-known for his calmness and composure on the field. So it wasn’t going to be surprising to see him portray that demeanor on social media as well. He is very active on Twitter and usually engages in banter with the fans.

He engaged in a lot of interaction with his fans and answered multiple questions. Be it his love for bikes or vehicles in general, or the habits and diet he follows. Being such a big celebrity and the face of the Indian cricket team for a while, he was bound to get criticized.  Any mistakes on the field resulted in hate mongers doing what they do, spreading hate.

Hate is a very strong word to be used: MS Dhoni

In the middle of a similar such interaction, a troll tweeted, “I hope @msdhoni knows there are many ppl who hate him. I am one of them.”

The sheer legion of fans Dhoni had would have put the user down in no time. However, MS Dhoni took the matter into this own hands.

“@ishangodbole well u may not like me but hate is a very strong word to be used anyways its ur choice so I won’t complain,” MS Dhoni replied.

MS Dhoni was most recently seen in the IPL 2021 for Chennai Super Kings. He managed a total of 37 runs in the 5 innings he played. Although his form with the bat was a bit of concern, he captained the team in vintage fashion. CSK sat pretty at the top of the table until a few positive covid-19 cases postponed the tournament.

Dhoni’s fans, however, would be happier to see the fearless MS Dhoni in action when the tournament resumes.  IPL is temporarily scheduled to be played in UAE, with 50% crowds as per Abu Dhabi government rules.
