Rajiv Shukla is a well-known face in Indian cricket being there in the administrative body for almost seven years now. The current IPL chairman who congratulated the women’s team for beating Australia by 35 runs to reach the finals was brutally trolled in twitter for his sheer lack of awareness about cricket.
His tweet after Mithali Raj’s side defeated Australia in the second semifinal of the World Cup was termed as insulting by many fans on twitter. He tweeted, “Congratulations to @BCCIWomen team for making it into the Champions trophy Final by beating Australia. Great knock by @ImHarmanpreet.” Later, he understood his mistake and deleted his tweet.
