Team India’s dynamic opening batsman, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has recently acquired a luxurious apartment in the Bandra East region of Mumbai. The cricket star invested a substantial ₹5.38 crore in securing this property.
Jaiswal’s new flat is part of the Ten BKC project, currently under construction and now owned by Adani Realty. As per a Moneycontrol report, the left-handed batter’s name was officially registered for the apartment on January 7, 2024.
It’s notable that the 22-year-old shifted to an opulent 5 BHK residence in Thane last year. Jaiswal, who made his debut for India in July 2023, has gained recognition for his impactful performances in Test cricket.
He has been in exceptional form during the ongoing five-match Test series against England, achieving two consecutive double centuries. Accumulating a total of 545 runs in six innings with an impressive average of 109.00, the left-handed batsman is presently the top run-scorer in the series.
“Dedication truly pays dividends” – Yashasvi Jaiswal comments on his undefeated score of 214 in the Rajkot Test
Yashasvi Jaiswal dominated the English bowlers, including seasoned pacer James Anderson, in India’s second innings during the Rajkot Test last week. His remarkable unbeaten score of 214 played a pivotal role in India establishing a challenging target of 557 runs for the visitors in the fourth innings.
The English team, led by Ben Stokes, could only muster 122 runs, leading to a significant 434-run victory for the Men in Blue, marking their largest Test win in terms of runs.
Sharing his thoughts on his batting performance, Yashasvi Jaiswal posted on Instagram:
“A double century and a sensational win against England! Dedication truly pays dividends, yet it’s moments like these that truly validate the effort. Immensely thankful for the support and the team spirit that paved the way to success. 🤍🙏🏼”
