Bhatnagar Sports vs DPC, Dadkar Maidan

In the match between Bhatnagar Sports & Cultural Foundation, Bhatnagar batting first posted a total of 338/7 in 70 overs at the Dadkar Maidan. The star performer of the day was Akshat Jain at no.4 who scored an elegant knock of 134* off 168 balls. It was on the back of Akshat’s herois, Bhatnagar team defeated Dadar Parsi Colony by 120 runs. With the ball, it was Akshay Darekar who came up with an exhibition spell of 5/73 in 18.5 overs.

Mumbai Police Gymkhana vs Young Mohmeddan CC, SRT Ground, Kandivali

Mumbai Police Gymkhana batting first had a batting feast on their hands thanks to a 306 run partnership for 3rd wicket between Rohit Pol and Shrikant Limbole. Rohit scored 141 off 153 balls while Shrikant Limbole smashed an aggressive 154* off mere 141 balls to keep Mumbai Police team on top.

It was a tough fight from the opposition too, thanks to Moin Khan’s smoldering 106* at the middle order. However, Young Mohmeddan CC fell short by just 8 runs losing the match in a thriller of a competition.

Goregaon Sports Club vs Karnatak Sporting Association, Cross Maidan

Goregaon SC batting first were all out for 217 runs thanks to a brilliant spell by the spinner Vaibhav Mali who came up with 5/32 in 12.3 overs. Karnatak Sporting Association chased down the score with ease thanks to match winning half centuries by opener Shrideep Mangela (53) and Ramanpreet Ghooman (74)

New Hind Sporting Club vs Sind SC, Dadkar Maidan

New Hind SC batting first at Dadkar Maidan scored 233/10 in 43 overs. A large chunk of runs were scored by their attacking left handed opener Karan Shah who smashed an impressive 96 off mere 63 balls (16 fours, 3 sixes). Off Spinner, Puneet Tripathy was the pick of the bowlers taking 5/34 in 12 overs including 3 maidens. In reply, Sind SC were all out for 90 runs,

Fort Vijay CC vs Parel SC at MIG

Fort Vijay CC batting first posted a mammoth total of 392/7 in 70 overs with half centuries recorded by their openers Sairaj Sangle (64), Monu Chauhan (58). Apart from their openers, Anees Choudhari (64), Siddarth Mhatre (85) and Nikhil Patil (56 off 29) chipped in with excellent knocks.

Parel SC in reply were all out for 295 runs with Shikhar Mehta (80*) at no.8 top scoring the innings while opener Karan Sonavale scoring a half century. Monu Chauhan was the pick of the bowlers too taking 5/59 while Kunal Thorat also bagged 4 wkts.
