West Indies as well as Punjab Kings’ batsman Chris Gayle celebrates his 42nd birthday today in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) before their campaign opener in the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Tuesday. While everyone wished him, it was his former IPL teammate Yuvraj Singh whose wish stole the limelight.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the former Team India player shared the special bond he shares with the Universe Boss. Yuvraj also mentioned his Indian captain and his former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate, Virat Kohli, in his birthday post while wishing the ex-West Indies skipper.

“Happy birthday to the #UniverseBoss @ChrisGayle333 Looking forward to many more epic nights with MJ moves are you sure @virat.kohli is a better dancer than me?,” Yuvraj Singh captioned his post to wish Chris Gayle a happy birthday.

Notably, both Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle have played for Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL). However, Yuvraj’s post soon became viral on social media as well.

Meanwhile, before they resume their IPL 2021 campaign, Rahul has shared his excitement to be in action again. The Punjab-based franchise has shared a video on their social media handles, where KL Rahul and co. were seen preparing for their first fixture of the UAE. KL Rahul also said that he was delighted to return with the team.

Furthermore, he has pointed out that it was good to see the squad’s newest players as well as their regular players.

“I am very happy to be back with the boys. It is nice to see some new faces and faces that have been a part of us for the last couple of years. So very happy that I am back and we can get started,” he said.

However, KL Rahul was seen timing the ball well while batting in the nets and would love to maintain his sublime form for Punjab in the second half of the IPL 2021 as well.
