Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took a cheeky dig at his counterpart Kevin Pietersen on Twitter. After Manchester United’s drubbing of Chelsea in the English Premier League opener, Yuvraj took a dig at Pietersen-who is a Chelsea fan.

Yuvraj earns the bragging right against KP

Yuvraj is a Manchester United fan since ages and he made most of the happening by having a go at the ex-England cricketer. Pietersen, who is quite active on the micro-blogging platform, was unusually silent. And that is when Yuvraj tweeted asking him if all was “ok”.

“Hey Mr @KP24 very quiet today all ok, @ManUtd,” read Yuvraj’s tweet. Earlier this year, Pietersen had lambasted Man Utd fans for celebrating their win on certain occasions.

“Bloody hell, by reading Twitter it would suggest that @ManUtd are winning the Premier League & just won the Champions League. They’re not even in the top 4 & you are the SECOND best team in Manchester! Will people just SHUT IT,” Pietersen had tweeted.

To this particular tweet, Yuvraj had replied, “You should be used to the media by now Kp some kind of truth always hurts @ManUtd, go United”.

Manchester hammered Chelsea in the league opener

The ‘Red Devils’ started their campaign with a stunning 4-0 win over Chelsea. Marcus Rashford scored 2 goals while Anthony Martial and Daniel James scored one apiece. It was former Chelsea player Frank Lampard’s first official game as manager of the Chelsea Football Club and clearly, it didn’t go as per plans.

Fans all over the world including Yuvraj had a ball last night. Yuvi is currently playing franchise-based T20 leagues. He led the Toronto Nationals in the Global T20 Canada league. The southpaw got a few starts but failed to deliver big. It would be interesting to see if he plans to play the upcoming leagues.
