Hardik Pandya, Chris Gayle Lead As Wishes Pour In After Yuzvendra Chahal Ties Knot With Dhanashree Verma

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got engaged just before IPL 2020.

Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal married his girlfriend Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday. The couple took wedding vows in Gurugram in a Hindu tradition at the Karma Lake resort. Chahal updated all his fans on his official social media account after getting hitched with his girlfriend.

Dhanashree is a choreographer by profession and was seen with Chahal in the UAE during the IPL. Before leaving for the IPL, the couple completed their engagement. Indian cricketers Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya and others got together to wish their Indian teammate on Twitter. Among the overseas cricketers, Universe Boss Chris Gayle wished the leggie as well. 

We started at “Once Upon A Time” and found “Our Happily Ever After,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond! wrote Chahal as he updated his fans about his marriage.

“Congratulations @Yuzi_chahal23 wish you both happiness,” Chahal’s former RCB teammate Gayle wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations @yuzi_chahal23 and @dhanashree9 , wish you a Happy married life together,” Dhawan wrote on Instagram while sharing a picture with the couple.

Yuzvendra Chahal was a part of the Indian limited-overs team that played an ODI and a T20I series against Australia recently. He came in as a concussion substitute and turned the first T20I for India. he took three wickets to win the game single-handedly for his team. He is not a part of the Test squad which is currently playing a series against Australia. 

Chahal, a key member of India’s white-ball teams, has so far played 54 ODIs and 45 T20Is where he has scalped 92 and 59 wickets in the two formats, respectively. He will be next seen in action during England’s tour of India next year.
