Yuzhvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar attained career-best rankings in the recently announced ICC T20I bowler rankings.

Chahal is now second-ranked T20I bowler and Sundar climbed up a record 151 places to clinch the 31st position in the table.

The spin twins had a memorable outing in the Nidahas trophy 2018 sharing 16 wickets among them picking eight each at a good economy rate.

Chahal has now 702 points and this is his career best as he jumped 12 spots to grab the second spot.

Washington Sundar was named the man of the series of the Nidahas trophy. Though he hadn”t been tested with his batting abilities, he proved to be handy with the ball by providing vital breakthroughs. It is to be noted that Sundar used to open the innings for the Tuti Patriots in the TNPL.

Both the spinners will now play under Kohli for the RCB in IPL 2018. This combo can really be a threatening factor for the opponents provided they are at their brutal best.

The Nidahas trophy has also been a platform for few batsmen to attain higher spots in the rankings.

Dinesh Karthik, the hero of the final against Bangladesh ranks 95, while Dhawan and Manish Pandey also made sure to grab their best rankings.

Indian International season has come to an end now and the cash-rich IPL will start on April 7.
