He completed his maiden Test century off 219 balls before being dismissed the next ball with an inside edge to Virat Kohli at slips. It was a superb knock by Hossain who looked his class against top-quality Indian bowling. Despite his brilliance, Bangladesh ended the 4th day at 272 for 6 still needing 241 runs to win with Mehidy and Shakib AL Hasan at the crease.
