Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj recently traveled to Mecca to perform Umrah ahead of Ramzan and the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season. On Tuesday, February 18, he shared a picture from his pilgrimage on his official Instagram handle.
Siraj has not been included in India’s main squad for the 2025 Champions Trophy and is listed among the three non-traveling reserves. Utilizing his break from cricket, he visited the Masjid al-Haram, also known as the Great Mosque of Mecca. The 30-year-old wrote:

Zanai Bhosle, granddaughter of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, responded to Siraj’s post by commenting with three red heart emojis.
Mohammed Siraj is set to feature in IPL 2025, representing a new team. He was acquired by Gujarat Titans (GT) for ₹12.25 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Mohammed Siraj was recently seen jamming with Zanai Bhosle inside a vanity van. The duo sang a few lines from ‘Kehndi Hai,’ a track from Zanai’s newly released debut music album. Sharing a video of Siraj singing, Zanai captioned the post on Instagram:

Last month, Mohammed Siraj attended Zanai Bhosle’s birthday celebration at Escobar – Tapas Bar in Mumbai. Zanai shared pictures from the event, including a candid moment with Siraj. Later, the pacer dedicated lines from the song “Taaron Ka Chamakta” to her on his Instagram story:

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans (GT) will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 25.
