India surprised Zimbabwe by defeating them by 100 runs in the second Twenty20 International of the series, following an embarrassing loss in the opening one. With a speedy century, young opener Abhishek Sharma stole the stage, although Rinku Singh and Ruturaj Gaikwad also held immense power.
Thanks to the knocks of Gaikwad (77* runs) and Rinku (48* runs), India scored 234 runs in the second Twenty20 International. In the third Twenty20 International, they would like to carry on with the same vigour. Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube are anticipated to take Dhruv Jurel and Sai Sudharsan’s places, respectively, while Yashasvi Jaiswal may have to wait to make an impact on the team.
