Rahul Tewatia has had the cricketing world discussing him after his blitz against the Kings XI Punjab. Chasing a mammoth total at Sharjah the Rajasthan Royals promoted Tewatia to bat at number 4.

Tewatia in the first 20 balls off his innings looked like a cat on a hot tin roof. He was struggling miserably and it looked that he has lost the game for his side.

Following that Tewatia bewildered everyone and produced a knock for the ages. It was the Sheldon Cottrell in which Tewatia went berzerk and hit him for 5 sixes in his over.

On the back of Tewatia’s outstanding knock, RR pulled off an amazing triumph in IPL 2020. Since that knock of Tewatia some of his old videos are becoming viral which has had everyone entertained.

Rahul Tewatia Asks Ricky Ponting For Praises

Now in the latest video, Tewatia can be seen asking Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting for praises. Last year after DC won against Mumbai Indians at Wankhade, coach Ponting was seen appreciating all the players that contributed in the match.

Meanwhile, Tewatia who was part of the DC setup last year didn’t get a mention from his coach for his 4 catches. After Ponting’s pep talk Tewatia had a quiet conversation with his coach and asked him for acknowledgement.

However, Ponting was in a rush and saw the funny side of it and asked the players to pat Tewatia for his four catches. The DC side was in splits and tried trolling Tewatia for his wishes.

Rajasthan Royals are currently at top of the IPL table alongside Delhi Capitals, The Steve Smith-led side has won both their matches and will now face the Kolkata Knight Riders on 30 September (Wednesday).
