6. Lost his father at the age of 7
Jasprit Bumrah had to bear an early loss as his father passed away when he was just 7 years old. He was then brought up by his mother who was a principal at a school. He had a dream of settling in Canada but eventually settled to play cricket in India.
The young pacer has time and again highlighted the importance of his mother in his career.
