3. THE DOOSRA
The doosra which was invented by the Pakistani cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq is a type of delivery that spins in an opposite direction to an off break.
This type of delivery particularly aims at confusing the batsmen to play a poor shot. Saqlain Mushtaq ruled the sport for a while with his brilliant deliveries of “The doosra”. Muttiah Muralitharan, Harbhajan Singh, Johan Botha, Shoaib Malik and many other cricketers adapted the technique of “The doosra.”
