The legendary Ab de Villiers can be a captaincy contender of RCB if the franchise decides to sack Virat Kohli. De Villiers made South Africa one of the top sides in white-ball cricket he was the captain between 2013-2017. The South African absolutely has leadership qualities which can inspire other young players of his side.

De Villiers has already made it very clear that he intends to finish his IPL career only with RCB. Much like Kohli, his loyalty towards the franchise is unrivalled and he might just be a good selection as captain if Kohli is replaced.
