In the same way, the cricketers can take on the positive criticism from their fans and ignore the negativity from the haters. India’s spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin is known for his sarcastic and witty reply to his fans on social media. Back in 2015, a fan tweeted Ashwin about how there are better bowlers than him and that he is a waste in foreign conditions.

Ashwin didn’t take this tweet very kindly and responded to the fan saying that he should rather focus on his kid’s education rather than being concerned about his bowling.

Fan tweet: “you can show your performance only in Asia … Foreign condition you are waste there are many bowlers perform more that u”

Translation-  “Go and focus on getting your kids educated instead of worrying about me, did I ask your permission before deciding to take up cricket?”
