Team India cricketer KL Rahul has resumed training ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy series, which begins on February 9 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. He hit the nets at the MIG Cricket Club in Bandra. The opening batter missed the white-ball series against New Zealand as he recently got married to Athitya Shetty in a private ceremony.
KL Rahul last played for India in the Test series against Bangladesh, where he led the team to a 2-0 clean sweep. Just a few days after his marriage, the right-handed batter resumed training for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The opener will be Rohit Sharma’s deputy in the series. Journalist Taus Rizvi shared a video on Twitter featuring KL Rahul’s practice session in Bandra.

Border Gavaskar Trophy crucial for Team India as they eye WTC final qualification
