Former cricketer Brett Lee was all praise for Rajasthan Royals batter Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played a blistering knock against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday, May 11 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the 2023 Indian Premier League. He launched an attack over the Rajasthan Royals’ bowling attack to power his team to an emphatic win.
Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed an unbeaten 98, with twelve boundaries and five sixes, at a strike rate of 208.51. He scored the fastest-ever fifty in the history of the Indian Premier League. The youngster broke the joint record held by KL Rahul and Pat Cummins, who had scored fifties in just 14 balls. He left the fans as well as experts in awe of his outstanding batting talent.

Would have selected Yashasvi Jaiswal as KL Rahul’s replacement for WTC final: Michael Vaughan
Former cricketer Michael Vaughan tweeted that he would have selected Yashasvi Jaiswal as KL Rahul’s replacement for World Test Championship final. Rahul has been ruled out due to an injury. The selectors named Ishan Kishan as his replacement for the all-important one-off game.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is now second on the list of most runs scored in the 2023 Indian Premier League so far. He has 575 runs in eleven matches at an average of 52.27, and a strike rate of 167.15. The youngster has four fifties and a century to his name in the season so far.
