According to AB de Villiers, It is very difficult to pick a favorite for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
On the fifth day, he predicts India to beat Australia to the finish line.

“Very difficult to identify the favorites. The last Test match between the two teams was played at the Oval, and while neither team has played a ton of Test cricket lately”.
“I can say that India defeated this extremely talented England team. They’ll gain a little bit of assurance from that.”
The former South African captain continued:
“On the fifth day of the Test match, I predict India will win. It might succeed, in my opinion”.
“Although the wicket is favorable for batting, I believe the Indian spinners will become more important as the Test match progresses”.

Since the four-match series the two teams played earlier this year. Neither Australia nor India have participated in a Test match.

De Villiers was then asked to name the important bowler in India’s attack without Jasprit Bumrah, to which he responded:
“Bumrah is a big loss for the Indian bowling attack. But Mohammed Siraj, in my opinion, is at the top of his game”.
“Previously, he had success there. He has an extra burst of speed. He nips it around off-stump, and in my opinion, he is India’s bowling attack’s most valuable asset “.
