The 20-year-old player was eventually escorted off the playing field. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris entered the field as a replacement fielder, while Haris Rauf took over for Naseem from the opposite end.

Naseem Shah’s injury status was closely observed following his removal from the field. Fortunately, to their joy, the talented fast bowler made a comeback to bowl the 18th over in the innings. Bangladesh faced a challenging situation with their initial four wickets falling for a mere 47 runs.
Litton Das, who had recovered from illness to participate in this match, was caught out for 16 by Shaheen, while Rauf dismissed Mohammad Naim and Towhid Hridoy. The responsibility now rests on the shoulders of Bangladesh’s seasoned duo, Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim, to guide their team to a competitive score.
The pitch at the Gaddafi Stadium has proven favourable for batting, instilling confidence in Pakistan that they can pursue any target set before them.
