Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly and Nasser Hussain get along a long way. Recently, they got engaged in a friendly off-field banter when both former captains took a jibe at each other on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Meanwhile, it all happened on 20th June when Sourav Ganguly took it to Twitter to celebrate the 24th anniversary of his illustrious Test career. On this day in 1996, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid took the field for India first time in Test Cricket, Ganguly who scored a blazing century in this match, shared some pictures of this match on Twitter.

Naseer Hussain who happened to be Ganguly’s maiden Test wicket replied by tweeting, “No pictures of you bowling that week.”
To which Ganguly playfully replied, “I always protect my dear friends.”

Ganguly refreshing Nasser Hussain’s memory of 2002 NatWest Trophy final
Sourav didn’t stop here, he even reminded Nasser Hussain of the 2002 NatWest Trophy final by posting a photo of him and Nasser posing with the trophy before the final.
Ganguly tweeted, ” Hi Nass.. when was this picture taken. losing memory with old age. Need my mate’s help.”
Hussain replied to this tweet by using a GIF to express his feelings.

Ganguly too replied to this with a GIF which he captioned, ” Young Nass, already thinking about captaincy.”
Nasser Hussain then took it to Ganguly by taking a jibe at him for frequently getting late for the toss.

After pulling each other’s leg for a bit, both of them finally ended their friendly banter, after wishing each other good health. However, Mohammad Kaif joined the party by reminding Nasser Hussain of his infamous ‘bus driver’ sledge at the former Indian batsmen before the NatWest final.
Kaif tweeted, “Hi Naseer Hussain, I think you called someone a ‘bus driver’ and in the end we all saw Dada’s 8 pack abs at the Lord’s Balcony, tweeted Kaif.
