Former India skipper MS Dhoni is arguably the greatest modern-day cricketer. His legacy will forever remain in the golden books of Indian cricketing history. The manner in which he conducts himself both on and off the field is a learning curve for every youngster. Recently, Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi showered heaps of praise on best human being Dhoni.

The wicket-keeper batsman has had a career full of highs. Ever since his international debut, Dhoni has taken Indian cricket forward. He is the only skipper in the history of the game to win three ICC titles. Despite achieving loads of success, MS Dhoni has been the same person throughout.

His character and conduct have earned appreciation from all quarters. Recently, veteran Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi also paid a glowing tribute to MS Dhoni. Nabi revealed that Dhoni’s doors are open all the time and anybody can come and talk to him.

“MS Dhoni is the best, calm and a great human being. The doors of his room are open 24*7 for everyone where he has tea with people and talks to them. I have met him 2-3 times and he is really a nice man.” Mohammad Nabi during an interaction with Anis Sajan.

Meanwhile, any kind of appreciation falls short for MS Dhoni. Currently, speculations on his retirement are on an all-time high. He last played in World Cup last year and since then, has been on a sabbatical. Dhoni was gearing up for the IPL but BCCI had to postpone it for indefinite period owing to COVID-19 outbreak.

On the other hand, Mohammad Nabi is a vital cog in the Afghanistan line-up in limited-overs. He has played a significant role in bringing the cricket in the country to where it is today. So far, he has played three Tests, 124 ODIs, and 78 T20Is for Afghanistan. He is also a regular member in T20 franchise leagues across the globe.
