The participation of star batsmen, namely, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, has now been made known and confirmed for the venerable domestic one-day championship, which is the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26.
Meanwhile, the tournament is going to be held starting December 24 in Bengaluru, where both players will be taking part. The addition of these two superstars has not only strengthened Delhi’s squad for the competition but also brought in the much-needed experience plus proven match-winning capabilities to the domestic circuit.
Kohli, the batter, who has been in great form, comes to the tournament with his impressive form, as he recently showcased his skills in the ODI series against South Africa at home. The whole series was exciting and challenging in that the marvellous player was presented with the ‘Player of the Series’ honour after his great performance during the three-match contest.
Kohli scored a magnificent 302 runs, averaging 151, which is very impressive; he was simply ruling with two hundreds and one fifty while being aggressive and fast at the same time, with a strike rate of 117.05.
